Local Food & Culinary Program
For some of Clients who are "foodie" and really enjoy tasting local foods & restaurants, we can arrange a "Street Food" Program while they are in Bangkok without any problem.
Our main destination for the Street Food Program will be in & around Bang Rak Area of Bangkok, also conveniently, this is where Mandarin Oriental, Shangri-La Bangkok & Peninsula (just across the river) are located. This area is the home to several great food shops and stalls run by Second or Third Generation Cooks who are proud of their culinary heritage.
Our next suggestion would be the Or Tor Kor Market, Bangkok’s unique indoor market with large variety of farm & vegetable products, and food vendors. Products displayed here are selected among the best found in the entire country, with such an incredible range of beautiful fruits, extremely fresh vegetables, meats and seafood.
Private Thai Cooking Class
In Chiangmai, we are able to arrange a Private Thai Cooking Class for you:
This morning (at around 08.30am) we can visit the local market to see some of the fresh ingredients that you will need for a regular Thai cooking. We then continue to a Private Thai Cookery School set in the countryside in a beautiful Thai Styled Garden, for your Private Thai Cooking Class:
- 10:00 am: Arrival at a Cooking School where refreshing drinks and welcome snacks are waiting for you.
- 10:20 am: Begin the class with how to cook rice and sticky rice.
- 10:35 am: Our instructors will guide you our organic farm while explaining Thai herbs and vegetables. Enjoy collecting chicken eggs and some fresh ingredients.
- 11:00 am: Soup and Stir-fried session with tasting.
- 12:00 pm: Curry session with tasting. For dessert and refreshments, our instructor will demonstrate how to make dessert and special refreshments step-by-step and let's enjoy tasting together.
ALSO Available in the Late Afternoon/early evening Program – (approx. 15.00pm-20.30pm).
Our VIP Fast Track Service at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport ~ Plus Vietnam/Cambodia/Chiangmai/Phuket
Just as reminder, we are now able to arrange Special VIP Fast Track Service at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport on your Clients Arrival, through our VIP Airport Handling Partner.
We do find this is very useful for Clients that may be arriving late after a long flight, also for older Clients or Clients who are not "experienced" Travelers - Also (and more importantly as the Airport gets busier !)– for those Clients who do not like to wait in Immigration Lines!! - Essentially it works like this:
VIP Fast Track Arrival Service:
- Clients will be greeted at the Aircraft Gate in terminal building by a uniformed female hostess welcome signage with Clients name
- Clients will be escorted to the Fast Track Immigration counter where their entry into Thailand will be expedited, as they will not have to wait in line with regular arriving passengers
- The hostess will handle all airport formalities with immigration and customs officials
- The hostess and a porter will then assist in obtaining all baggage. In the event of lost baggage, hostess will assist the Clients to the Lost & Found counter of their Airline
- The hostess and porter will escort Clients through customs and to meet up with Our Wanna Tours Guide in the Passenger Terminal Arrivals Hall –in order to commence their Program
Regional Airport VIP Arrival Services
We are also able to offer our Airport VIP Services on Arrival at the following Regional Airports:
- Thailand – Chiangmai & Phuket
- Cambodia - Siem Reap & Phnom Penh
- Vietnam – Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) & Da Nang
Again we generally only offer these services in conjunction with our Private Programs (not as an individual item). Costs do vary, depending on Number of Clients, Arrival Fight Timing, and specific services, etc. so if this is of interest for your Clients – just let us know these details and we can include this as part of our overall Private Program Proposal.
Country List for Visa Exemption for Thailand Updated
Nationals of the following 93 countries and territories are entitled to visa exemption for the purpose of tourism business engagements or urgent work or ad-hoc work, for up to 60 days period of stay and can be extended for another period not exceeding 30 days. Extension of stay is solely at the discretion of the immigration officer. Before the maximum stay of 90 days are eligible to apply for a new type of visa in Thailand.

While we know Christmas & New Year seem a long way off, we are already getting bookings for this Peak Season Period.
As you will know we do only have a limited number of Guides to look after your VIP Clients, (and Hotels do get booked out quite early over this period), so if you have Clients thinking about travelling over this period – let us know soon, to avoid any disappointments !!
