Elephant Caregiver for a Day (Joining Program)

A Unique "Up-Close and Personal" Elephant Program



This morning around 07.30am, we drive by Private Air-conditioned vehicle, to a Private Elephant Farm, in the Hang Dong Valley on the outskirts of Chiangmai.

On arrival at the Site, you will be greeted by your Host, discuss your program, and get changed to a more comfortable Local “Elephant” Outfit. We then join our "Elephant Caregiver for a Day" Session, which includes:

  • Learn about elephant farm management and our breeding program.
  • Train to approach and be near elephant. Learn to observe elephant temperament.
  • Introduction to our elephants. Morning feed.
  • Daily health care for elephant.
  • Learn about elephant skin care and bathing your elephant.

You then lead your Elephant into the Water for a refreshing dip, before having a very local picnic lunch at the waterfall.

After lunch, we walk with the Elephant through the Fields & Forest. On completion, we say farewell to your elephants, then meet up with our Vehicle & return to your Resort.

For your Safety & Security, your own Qualified, English-speaking Guide, will be with you throughout the Program. Also, there will be other Visitors in your “joining group” session at the farm.

Program include:

  • Unique "Up-Close and Personal" Elephant Program accompanied by your own Qualified, English-speaking Guide
  • Road Transportation by private air-conditioned vehicle and experienced Driver
  • Entrance Fees, etc. for all activities at the Elephant Farm
  • Very Local Picnic Lunch
  • Bottled Water, Soft Drinks & Cool Towels in Vehicle
  • P.A. Insurance (Local Cover) while on Tour

Special Note:

  • You and all your clothing will get dirty & wet... So we suggest wearing light, comfortable (easy drying) clothing. A Cap or Hat is also recommended
  • We also suggest bringing a change of Clothes and Towel
  • Strapped Sandals are ideal footwear
  • Program is not recommended for Clients with disabilities
  • Due to the Unique & Exclusive Nature of this Program, Pre-booking with a Non-refundable Deposit, is required well in advance

Gratuities and items outside of the indicated Programs are NOT included in our costs
